Hi, I'm Elaine. I immigrated to America as a child and grew up in the East New York projects. Life was sometimes hard, but I worked harder, funding most of my college education myself by holding full-time jobs. I believe if you set your mind on something and work hard, you can make anything happen.

Several years ago I accepted a job in the construction industry, which, I learned quickly, is heavily male-dominated. But I didn't accept it as a roadblock; I saw it as a challenge. There's no reason men need to dominate this industry!

After a few years my partners and I decided to launch Wallbreakers and try to shake things up. Wallbreakers is a construction company dedicated to empowering women like me break barriers and thrive in this male dominated industry.

When I'm not busy breaking down walls, you'll find me hanging out with my three kids. They're my biggest motivators and my greatest joy! Work/life balance is important to me, and there is no reason either should suffer.

Victoria Sunko, Treasurer

Victoria is an Accounting Consultant for multiple businesses across a wide spectrum of industries. She has extensive experience working with not-for-profits. Previously Victoria had a successful cafe in New York's lower East Village. She is an NYU alum.

Todd Sunko, Construction Consultant

Todd has 17 years of residential renovation and construction experience in New York both in the Hudson Valley and in NYC. He has been involved in hundreds of New York City apartment renovation projects including Condos, Coops and Mult-family buildings.
